“Actors are a very important part of society.”

by Kenji Maeda on March 30, 2010

The GVPTA (Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance) linked this video over on Facebook in honour of World Theatre Day on the weekend. I just had a chance to view it and thought it was really captures the importance of not only actors in society but the whole arts and culture sector.

In the video, Patsy Rodenburg (Voice and Shakespeare teacher in New York) speaks to why she thinks actors and playwrights are important and why she does theatre.

Enjoy and be inspired.
