What is ProductionHeads?

ProductionHeads.com is a website designed to facilitate connections between everyone working in the Film, Television & Theatre industry within B.C. Our primary focus is to help our members secure continued employment by providing a medium for them to market themselves.

How does ProductionHeads work?

The site is created to bring two specific groups of people together. Those looking for work in the industry and those looking to hire for the industry. Our member profiles are created to help those looking for work, market themselves. Our callboard is for both. Members can search for work in our crew calls that those looking to hire, posted. In addition, recruiters can search for members with specific skill sets using our advanced search function.

What is a ProductionHeads Membership?

We offer two kinds of memberships. Paid and Basic. Paid Members can create an online profile which may include their resume, images, video & audio samples. Their profiles are viewable to all visitors to the site, including those who are looking to staff productions. Some of those who are looking to staff, may only have a Basic membership. Our Basic membership allows recruiters to post crew calls on the callboard, through which Paid Members can submit their profiles in application to job postings. Members get hired. Productions carry on. Everyone wins.

What are the Paid Membership terms for ProductionHeads?

Membership fees are based on a one year term. Members will receive email notifications of their account status 30 days prior to their renewal date. ProductionHeads will not retain previous payment information nor automatically renew memberships. Renewed memberships are effective on the last day of the previous membership. Who can see my membership profile?

Everyone. Profiles are viewable to all visitors to the site. However, your contact information is as private or as public as you wish it to be. Members can choose to have their contact information open to the public or super secretly hidden within the confines of our internal email system.

How do I contact recruiters on your site?

Recruiters looking to staff their productions will post a crew call in our callboard section. Anyone, member or not, can reply to the crew call using the contact links provided within the posting. However, Paid Members can submit their profile in application to the job posting. So yes, membership does have it's privileges.

How do I make a payment?

Payments can be made online through our secure payment service hosted by Caledon. We currently accept Mastercard & Visa. We do not accept cheques or cash at this time.

How do I contact potential employees on your site?

First, check out our advanced search option to find members best suiting your requirements. Then contact those members either through the email highlighted and linked to our email pop-up window, or an 'Email this User' button (designed for members who wish to keep their contact info private).

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The more accessible our database of talented tradespeople is for you, the sweeter life is for our members. Unless you want to create your own profile, then you'll have to pony up.
